Bridal Hair Styling Ideas

Here are some great hair styling ideas that I have gathered for your beautiful wedding looks! Depending on your hair length & volume, personal preferences, or wedding themes… etc., you can always find an ideal bridal hair style by consulting with your wedding hair & make-up specialists.

Booking a bridal make-up & hair  trial is important, because you can have a preview on how you will look like on one of the most important days in your life.

·

It’s not a day to look completely like another person that no one can recognize you… it’s a day to be pampered and treated like a princess by your make-up & hair professionals who can help you enhance your own beauty.

·

Ideally, you will have more variety of hair stylings to choose from if you have longer hair. So if your hair is about medium-to-long in length, and you plan to get married in September, then you should consider NOT cutting your hair starting March (half an year in advance).

On top of make-up looks, hair styling can really make some differences on your day. Some prefer the classic up-dos, some likes the traditional looks, some like it a bit more fancy/messy and fashion-y looks, and some just  like it in simple waves and curls.

Our hair specialist at the bridal hair trial will help you determine on what suits you, and how the make-up & hair looks will appear on photos and videos. Of course, there are always some  little tricks that will help to “frame” your face to appear more photogenic.

Some other factors that can also take into considerations are:

  1. veil style and placement on the hair
  2. hair extensions/length
  3. hair colour/highlights
  4. hair accessories and its placement
  5. hair style changes (for different looks & outfits throughout the wedding day)
  6. the side of your face that you like better for photography (can determine the side of your hair-do)

All these can be factors to determine the best hair look for you.

In make-up artistry, it’s like the art of facial contouring – I use the highlight and shadowing effects to help you “frame” the face so it can be more photogenic appearing. Both hair and make-up should go together to make you more beautiful than you already are!

At Tommy Beauty Pro Team – Weddings, we have a Bridal Look Book at our studio for your review. It’s filled with different images for you to take a look at the different options you can have for make-up and hair. For hair styling, there are up-dos, curls, Half-up & Half-downs… and here are some awesome images of the hair styles that you can get some ideas from…. please enjoy!

Thank you for sharing. I am working on a film about a wedding and knowing that long hair is better for hair style options might influence my casting choices.

    Hi Michelle:

You’re welcome! I am glad your like it and find this blog entry helpful!

Ideally yes it is, however the hair stylist can also consider adding hair clips and/or hair extensions to make the hair longer for more styling options. It’s just not as ideal in a real wedding situation… and it will cost way more to have all that done professionally.
