Here is a YouTube Video make-up tutorial for you to “watch and learn.” From a professional make-up artist’s perspective, I really like her selection of products (not to mention she uses a lot of M·A·C Cosmetics products that I absolutely can’t live without in my make-up kit), her color choices are neutral and suitable for just about all “light, light-medium, medium, medium-dark, slightly tanned” color skintones… in another word, bravo on her choice of products and colors!

2. Prime your skin! A smooth, clean skin is so essential in creating that flawless make-up look. If you are into beauty pageant looks, Pia also showed another tutorial on Beauty Pageant Make-up Look that she did on herself for Miss Philippines and Miss Universe beauty pageants! Some key points for pageant make-ups (on stage) are:
- Use foundation that is good for HD (high definition) and choose a shade that is half to one shade darker than your natural skin tone because stage lights, flashes will tend to wash away colors.
- Do contour and highlight! This will bring more definition, and make yourself more photogenic on prints & videos!
- Use neutral colors such as browns for: brows, eyes, contours, and cheek colors. They are timeless and classic.
